It blows - 3/3/2020
The population is bigger, there are many illegals hired by farmers. This part of the county is known for that, pedophiles/felons because of cheap rent and trailer parks. There are 2 dollar stores across the street from each other but no growth, not even a restaurant. Closest fast food or sit down chain (not a greasy deep fried diner which is 6 miles) is 13 miles away). This place is a food, retail, and entertainment black hole. No public transportation, no redeeming qualities. Their idea of a park that was built in the last decade is a tiny paved trail that makes your feet hurt, a picnic table, swing, non working fountain and porta potty. Dogs aren't allowed. Its so bad they tore down a historic grocery store that was being used as mexican church for a parking for the cemetery, yet the funeral home and chapel next door closed and was sold.
